A collective sound piece designed for a birthday party.
One participant at a time enters the location where they see plastic tubes in the corner. The participant is asked to explore and listen plants and plastic tubes. Trough the tubes they will hear the voice messages left by the previous visitor.
The performer asks the participant to sent voice messages trough their phone answering for ”Give three compliments of the person X” and ”Share a memory with X”.
The next visitor will be the one the voice messages are assigned to.
After all the participants have visited the garden of plastic tubes the voice messages are all put together as an soundscape.
Birthday was performed for the fist time during the summer 2021 two times in a private birthday.
